Talk about being dramatic. Someof the goings-on in this book took me by surprise. The sinister machinations of various groups within the government wouldn't take anyone by surprise but when they can control magic to a certain extent! Renegade mage's, Mage cults, Mage groups and companies are all in full swing in this book making you wonder just who is in control until nearer the end of the book.
