Up to the standard of Traitor, through I personally prefer Traitor. An excellent read, great to see the Republic (a.k.a Rouge Sqaudron) doing something at last, Aaron Allston is one of/the best Star Wars writer, he is especially good with space battles and humour, both of which play a large part in this book. Excellent read (yes I know I'm repeating myself) with brilliant plot. A definite five star.

With Enemy Lines I: Rebel Dream, Aaron Allston joins the pack of Star Wars authors for the New Jedi Order, and he gives us a rip-roaring adventure with a lot of what drew me to the Star Wars universe to begin with. Known (at least where this universe is concerned) for contributing to the X-Wing series, as well as introducing Wraith Squadron, he's definitely the master of exciting spaceship combat, and this book is no different. If you've found the New Jedi Order too depressing recently, that won't ... Read More

Finally the NJO series is getting serious. Up until now the series has laboured with the internal divsions amongst the Jedi, the infighting within the Solo household and Jaina's flirtation with the Dark Side. Allston has remembered that there were other characters in the Star Wars novels other than newly created NJO characters and the Solo/Skywalker families. He uses his previous Star Wars writing experience to bring back much loved charaters such as Iella & Wraith Squadron (though much changed.) You ... Read More

The NJO saga continues. Rebel Dream sees the return of quite a few older characters, Wraith Squadron, Iella Wessiri, Tycho and slightly less focus on the Jedi. It's refreshing to see the New Republic and the Jedi hitting back at the YV after such a downward spiral. I've always found Aaron Allston one of the best SW authors and this is a great read. I can't wait for it's sequel - Rebel Stand to be published. And sooner or later we should find out what has happened to Jacen Solo.

Aaron Alliton has combined the continuing saga of the New Jedi Order books with the pace and action of The X-Wing series of Books. It was wonderful to see the So-called leaders of the New Republic finally put in their place and the Military given a chance to do what it does best. Great to see Wraith Squadron back but best of all was Wedge Antillies. Finally a General who knows what he is doing. I won't reveal the ending but it is brilliant. Enough said Buy this book.
