Ok so i have been browsing the other reviews written by other people, there not that good are they? I think this album is a product you either love or hate, for me i love this album its very different to the previous stereophonics music, i must admit i was a little dissapointed that there wasnt much rock and roll - the songs can almost be seen as a little depressing, but it has grown on me A LOT!
To put things short, buy the album if you are a stereophonics fan, give it chance to grow on you, ...

Like the previous reviewer I was appalled at the number of five star reviews for this album and had to set the record straight. If you look up 'soporific' in the dictionary you will see a picture of this album. Truly Stereophonics blandest album, this should be the very LAST album of theirs you should buy. This album will send you to sleep faster than a Dido album on repeat play. I would compare it to 'Be Here Now' by Oasis, except that Be Here Now was a lot more fun.

The problem I find with this 3rd album by the 'phonics is I only like the singles off it. Vegas two times, step on my old size nines, have a nice day, Mr writer and Handbags and gladrags are all great tracks but apart from these I find theres too many fillers on the rest of the album. Apart from Vegas two times I also find the rest of teh tracks are very mellow and accoustic. If you prefer songs like Local boy, Mademe helga and Bartender and the thief then avoid this but its worth 3 stars for the singles ...

I know people think this is very mellow, but hey if they set out to make a mellow album then they did a dam good job! As a teen I try to keep up in the music scene with what is hot an what isn't, E.G. "Chili Peppers" good, "Pussycat Dolls" bad. I was worried that it would be a filler album because I had only heard their singles (which I loved to bits) Have a Nice Day, Mr Writer and Handbags and Gladrags. So I was very pleased when I found that there was only 1 song that I didn't like as much (but I didn't even ...

This is the best stereophonics album followed closely by 'YOU GOTTA GO THERE TO COME BACK'.
It has a good balance between rock and acoustic rock and there is only one song on this album that i don't much like (lying in the sun). BUY THIS CD
