I bought this for my baby grandaughter, she will have to wait as her brother of 19mths is very amused by it. It is sturdy with the fabric covering providing a nice touch for little hands. The lid is easy for small hands to operate, no trapped fingers. The squeak as 'jack' emerges from his box is quite gentle, so no frights and no tears - recommended

This is a lovely toy. My son is nine months and loves it - it is hard for small children to get the Jack back down but they love lifting the lid. Jack boings when he appears and the whole toy is beautifully decorated with bright colours and clear pictures. The lid is made of crinkle material and is great fun. Highly recommend this toy to all parents and those looking for a really special toy that will provide hours of smiles and giggles.

Bought as a one year old's birthday present. She soon got the hang of it. Can't yet put the Jack back in the box, but opens the lid to make him jump out - and it makes her smile. This is a really lovely soft first toy.
