I have made 2 batches of icecream which has turned out really well, but! the lid doesnt fit on when the bowl is frozen!! What am i doing wrong, I have no idea? Has anybody had the same problem? Leslieann.

My daughter had one of these for her 13th birthday recently. She has made various icecreams with it which are lovely. It is easy to use and doesn't require loads of ingredients to make something really tasty. The thing that I really like about it that you know the end product is made with natural ingredients and the 'fruity taste' is superb!

This ice cream maker is great! its smaller than one i had before which i like as it takes up less room in the freezer, it is just the right size for two people and its quick, turn it on before you sit down for dinner and it's ready by the time you've finished eating,(ice cream in 20 mins)

I wasn't sure which size to buy, but went for the smaller one (0.8 litre capacity) and found that it makes plenty for a family of four. So far I have tried recipes which contain cream and eggs so the ice cream is quite rich and you don't need huge portions - there is enough to serve as soon as it is made and then enough to freeze for another day. I purchased this product after recommendation from a friend who has recently bought one too and I am so pleased I did. This machine is fab and I would recommend one any one who loves proper ice cream. Thank goodness the ice cream that comes out of this tastes nothing like shop bought. The strawberry recipe on the instructions is delicious. I didnt have a problem washing the bowl when frozen like some did (just wash as normal and pop straight into the freezer)!.
