I have used the Philips Sonicare range for more than 10 years and have been very happy to have that dentist feel every time. Yes, the newer heads are thinner, that's called 'research and development'. The new, smaller head means you can easily reach all teeth, including back ones. Remember, you don't apply tons of pressure with any electric toothbrush, so although this one is leaner, it doesnt mean it will break easily, it won't.

I disagree with the review somone has left regarding this product. I have used a Sonicare toothbrush for a few years now, and as a result never need to see the hygienist at the denists. No scale build-up, thanks to Sonicare. I used a previous model, which used larger heads, and when that failed, purchased a new model. I find the slimmer handle of the head good to reach the 'difficult to reach' places, and they have continued to do as good a job as earlier models. I don't regret my purchase of ... Read More
