recommend purchasing this, as the water tases great especially when chilled.Ive had mine for over 3 years, u cant stand normal tap water now

This would get 5 stars if it didn't drip quite as much - or if the lid didn't fall off as I put it back in the fridge, spilling water everywhere (although this may due to my inherent clumsiness, as no-one else in the household has this problem).
Tip - the filter cartridges will go for 12 weeks happily with no taste deterioration, as opposed to the 4 weeks Brita says. Profiteering on their part, methinks...

Had various Brita filters over the years, and they do improve the taste of drinks and make tap water much more palatable - on a par with bottled water, but for only a replacement £4 filter every 4-6 weeks.
However this model, which we brought to go in the fridge door, drips when pouring, which is an irritating design flaw!

I was a little 'opened minded' about this item, but now i wonder how i managed without it!
My tap water always had an after taste about it, but since buying a 'Brita Filter Jug' it has cleaned up the taste, It's just like bottled water now, clean & crisp.
An even cleaner, better taste.
Now i make ALL my drinks with filtered water, the difference is truly amazing.
