My last 3 vacuum cleaners have all been dysons & i must say i have always been very pleased with them. Not this one...from the day i bought it it has been useless. All i can say is you will do a better job getting on your hands & knees & picking the dirt up with your fingers. When the large head is on the end of the large clumsy hose there is almost zero suction, the brushes struggle to go round even after cleaning the vacuum out after every use. A terrible machine whose only plus side is its interesting looks.
The main thing is that suction has always been incredibly poor which
makes it fairly useless for vacuuming! I have just replaced it with
a Sebo upright and I can't believe the difference. Vacuuming is now
almost a pleasure!
I also thought of selling my Dyson but would hate to impose it on
anyone else.
I will never ever buy a Dyson again. They are a triumph of design over
(lack of)functionality.

We have had this for 3 years now and it has never let us down. Worth every penny and just takes minutes to clean house. Easy to use, easy to set up, clean and store away.

This dyson was great for the first 6 months. Now it refuses to pick up hair or fluff. The cable doesn't retract properly and I have already had it fixed once. Don't buy it you'll only regret it in a few months. I have now got a Henry it's much cheaper and works 100 times better in my opinion.

Having used Dyson's before and living in a very large house, I knew that a cleaner with a strong suction was needed as the small vacuum we had, I felt had not power in it. After looking at the reviews i decided to go with the DC11. It arrived well within the delivery time slot and only took a minute to assemble. The house I live in is a mixture of carpets, wooden floor and stone floor and the DC11 sailed through without any problems.
