Rating: - One Of The Best Overall
I bought this dictionary primarily for solving crossword puzzles.

Although it lacks some definitions, it aids considerably in solving most crossword puzzles.

Nice clear LCD; many other dictionaries have cheapish looking LCD's which are somewhat distracting. Keys are easy to press; many other dictionaries require substantially more force on keys to operate them - this I find to be a bit annoying.

Rating: - Best electronic dictionary I ever owned
The dictionary is probably the best you can get in electronic form. I spend a lot of time every day reading/studying and this has been incredible help. My only complain is that the batteries do not last very long even when I don't use backlight. Also I wonder whether it makes full use of the technology available nowadays in terms of screen visibility. Rating: - Useless for anagrams
Like reviewers before me I appreciate some of the features on the Sharp, but as for it solving anagrams it is easily beaten by the most basic solvers. Big disappointment - expensive mistake

Rating: - Great product
After deciding for a long time, I finally bought one of these Dictionaries.
I am very please with my purchase. One thing I am slightly disappointed in is that in the advertising picture it shows the word in syllables which unfortunately is not shown on my dictionary.
This is the first one I have ever owned so I do not know what to expect. The definitions could be more clearer, but over all I am very pleased.
Its easy to use and solidly built and user friendly.

At home on my bookshelf there are two rather tatty books, each have been thumbed, grabbled and generally look worn; however, they are key to my families learning: playing scrabble with my children, looking for general descriptions to the flowering of a word for writing.
