My daughter has been wanting to make waffles at home for ages, so Christmas Day came and there was her eagerly awaited waffle maker!!! Boxing Day - so we are now trying to SEARCH on the internet for a good recipe!! WHY ON EARTH ARE THERE NO RECIPES PROVIDED IN THE BOX WITH THE MACHINE? Even a basic one would have been nice?!?

Rating: - Great waffles
I have just bought this and am very pleased with it. The only criticism is that it does not have a recipe or instruction book with it. However, I got a recipe from the web and went ahead. On my first try I didn't oil the plates enough and put too much mixture in the machine, but after this I got it right and have enjoyed great fluffy waffles. Would recommend it.

Rating: - It looks like a waffle, it smells like a waffle (sort of) but it doesn't taste like a waffle.
As a keen cook, I acquired this waffle iron envisisioning great waffles to accompany a good coffee. However I was disappointed to find that this waffle iron doesn't produce waffles comparable to something you would find served with icecream. I know you may be thinking that I needed to find the right recipe, but trust me I tweaked recipes constantly to get the waffle right. I always kept meaning to buy a waffle iron and I finally got around to it.
After looking at various models and comparing prices I opted for the DeLonghi WR30.

Upon first inspection this is a very stylish and slimline machine.
Having used many similar kinds of appliances before, I was able to use it without any bother, considering there was not an instruction booklet provided, which seems unhelpful for people when first using this product.

Rating: - Faultless Waffles!!
A great machine that only gets four stars for coming without the remotest hint of a recipe and it took forever to find a really good one - there are plenty of mushy waffle recipes out there, but finding a good crispy one took some time!! If you want to make really easy waffles - this is the one and they can be frozen once cold and toasted to revive them - a great instant snack/breakfast.
