I got this for Christmas last year. True,it only goes up and down but then blowing it gives it sideways movement. Admitedly my cat is rather more wary now than she used to be as hovering above a door then descending at speed is remarkably interesting when theres nought worth watching on the telly.All in all with a little practice it is fun to drift around the room,land, take off and drift a bit more,land between the mug of tea and the bowl of peanuts, take off, drift a bit etc.

Very diaappointed with the control function, basically the thrust trigger allows up or down; therefore, no forward or backward movement. Only consider for very young children or for anyone with an extremley high tolerance to boredom. Bought for my 12 year old son who has used it once then adandoned for it ever.

The flying saucer was given to my cousin and kept all ages entertained over christmas, i could easily reccomend people to buy it

So I'm 27 and this toy is supposed to be for kids. Well if your child gets half as much enjoyment out of flying this toy around the living room as I did then they will have a thoroughly enjoyable christmas or birthday.
Within minutes I'd mastered the thrust trigger, so I could either have the saucer hovering around the light fittings or hovering a few feet off the floor and terrifying the poor cat.
All you dad's out there. Everyone know you enjoy 'testing' the toys before the kids ...
