I have hummed and hawed about getting one of these machines for a very long time. I finally succumbed a couple of months ago when Amazon had it on offer at an outstanding £150 - and after asking a friend who already owns one, and hasn't shut up about him in the two years she's had him (he's called Stanley!). Can anyone help with this question about the splash guard on the kitchen aid mixer? I am very tempted to buy the basic white Kitchen Aid mixer BUT it dosen't come with a splash guard. Do you think you need the splash guard? Also, the bowl is slightly smaller than the artisan ones. Am I being too picky??!!!

I bought my KitchenAid Classic from Amazon, first of all brilliant service from Amazon.
Secondly - I just absolutely love my KitchenAid - I use it 2 - 3 times a week, and tonight used it to make my Christmas Cake - no bother to it at all! Brilliant piece of kit, if you thinking about it, don't think any longer, just do it! Especially since it is now down to £150 - a pure give away.
No praise is too high.
