I won't even bother commenting on whether this is a good shaver or not, I just wanted to bring your attention to the fact that this device damages the environment in many ways. I strongly believe that 10 hours charging time for 35 minutes of operation is totally unacceptable! In times where we are trying to cut down on electricity consumption and carbon emissions as much as possible, that's a lot of wasted energy! Rating: - The Best Tubovac
This easily beats the standard old method of shaving with scissors and Dyson. The Dyson was way too unwieldy, particularly when doing those tricky inaccessible parts of the body. Much easier to handle and doesn't threaten to suck up all of your clothes while you shave!

This was bought as a replacement for a previous Turbovac (the T863) from Philips that is suffering from battery charge leak after 5 good years of service.

The new model certainly improves in a few niggling design areas over its predecessor:

Hair collection works perfectly and is a boon.
Cuts perfectly and, best of all, quickly.

If I had read some of the earlier reviews first I may not have bought this but I am pleased I did.

Reading the earlier reviews.... It is possible, I suppose, that if you are clumsy or cack-handed you may change the settings in use and even drop the thing causing it to spring apart. But if you do not fall into the clumsy category then this trimmer is to be highly recommended.
