I'm really in two minds as to what rating this deserves, on the one hand if taken as a serious attempt at heavy (Heafy?) metal this warrants about a very low score. However, I'm a big fan of Bad News and Spinal Tap and to me Trivium are just the same its just they don't realise it yet. So this is quite enjoyable as on a purely comic level. Well, I say Trivium are the same as Bad News and Tap but Nigel Tufnel and Vim Fuego had the common decency to not hide their complete lack of musical prowess ...

Now I must admit I was one of the ones who didn't get Trivium. A boy band playing at metal, there recorded output has been poor to say the least. But it might be words eating time for this is a ragingly good single.
Yes they're still ripping off Metallica and Megadeth but they're finally getting to grips with writing songs of their own instead of pale imitations. To be fair, the lead track is a poor representation but when you get into the meat of 'Vengeance' and 'Broken One', it's clear ...

First off, anthem wasn't my favourite track, but listen to it more than 3 times and the song just hooks in your head, its like a pop song of metal, spinning around by kyle minogue wouldn't go away out of my head for months! and this is what trivium are great are doing... Creating songs that just work and stick inside your head. The track isn't just another "oh no its another samey samey song" because... it just isn't. The song incorpriates some genius of techniques. And is really mindblowing. The other ...

This is the first single from triviums new album the crusade(out on monday 9 oct) and I have got to say it's awsome. Having been a big Trivium fan since their first album as well as loving the new song from hearing it on the radio I thought Id go and buy it. I can safely say it didnt disapoint, because not only does it have the single, but it also has two extra tracks that will not be on the album and theyre brilliant. The first; 'vengeance' was written by Corey so of course is shred tastic but it also ...

What a great track for Trivium to introduce their new approach to Metal with this single. Anthem it's self, great riffs, great drums, even better solo! a more commercial side though compared with their old music but still a quality track that sticks in your head. The next track "Vengeance" was just "WOW!" from the word go, don't no why it wont be on the album it ROCKS!!! such a great chorus riff melody and a very up beat pulse throughout the track, it would be a very good live sound in my opinion. The last ...
