I wasn't sure what I'd make of this DVD as I tend to go for hard working cardio excercise. However, I have found it a little relieving to have a change of pace and still see results. I am an apple shape, and with all the core excercises people have mentioned that my waist is already looking slimmer. My husband also has done this workout using heavier weights as he says it's not all 'girly' moves. I bought this exercise dvd after reading all the positive reviews. I have to say that all in all its not a bad workout. It definately gets your heart going. My main dislike was that the instructor kept constantly switching from one thing to another. So you do a bit of cardio, then weights, then you're on the floor, the squats etc. It has different sections 3 of which are called 'Cardio' but even in these sections she switches alot. I consider myself fairly fit and often find some at home exercise DVDs are not challenging enough. This definitely worked up a huge sweat and left me feeling like I'd been challenged and worked hard, but not to the point where I felt like I wouldn't be able to do more exercise the following day. Alison is a good instructor and the routines are fairly simple to follow. There were also some exercises in this DVD that were new to me. A great total body workout, both toning and cardio. Highly recommend

just have to say.. alison davis is a complete legend and knows EXACTLY what she's doing!! work hard at it and you really will see results in 10 work outs, alison is straight to the point, works you hard, encourages you, doesnt let you get lost.. whatever, just buy it

THE EXERCISES: Watched this through first time and was initially disappointed as the moves looked very easy, HOWEVER...actually doing the DVD completely changed my mind. The reasons? Well, it starts off with a few minutes warm up that is not overly strenous but does get you warm. It then consists of segments - Cardio 1, plyometric 1, going up to 3 of each, folowed by a cool down.
