Surely reviewers such as Edna Sweetlove must realise that people actually considering purchasing DVD's of series such as Midsomer have, actually, already seen an episode (...or six...) on the box and, therefore, realise what level of disbelief suspension is required!

Edna's theory - wot Edna invented, ahem, ahem - is that John Nettles did it!!! How else to explain all the murders in Midsomer? He kills people and frames innocent cast members, who then ritualistically admit to the crimes...
