I have owned this product for about 10 years and it has been wonderful. It was called Megamix then and it was white plastic and not as powerful as this model. Mine finally wore out tonight so I have purchased this one with no doubts whatsoever. It turns ice cold skimmed milk into the consistency (and taste suprisingly) of double cream with no fat. Fantastic item, when it first arrived I thought it was a bit over rated, then I gradually overcame my fear and started to use it more and more, now it is a piece of kitchen gadget that is never out of my hand, so versatile. Would not be without now, I am even buying one for my daughter for a CHRISTMAS PRESENT.

Rating: - Fabulous piece of kit!
I have this Bamix and highly recommend it. In fact, you know people say things like, "oh you get a "blender" and it ends up in a cupboard and you never use it!" Well, with this one, you will use it just about every day if you enjoy cooking. And if it's stored as it's meant to be, on the stand provided, then you WILL use it every day! I DO!

This is a well conceived and made bit of kit, it makes difficult sauces/'cappucino' with no fuss, it is easy to use and clean. the Ramsey cd is very helpful; He says that each of his restaurant stations has their own.
So much better than the good but cheaper alternatives. Buy one, get some eggs and you'll be making real mayo and bechemel in no time.
One of only a few kitchen Gadgets i would replace if it would (unlikely) fail.

Rating: - THE BEST PIECE OF KITCHEN EQUIPMENT
This blender is amazing - you can blend soups in the pan & it doesn't scratch the pan as it has "space" around the blade so no pan scratching or that annoying time consuming soup from pan to jug to blender & back routine, plus smart & compact enough to stay on the kitchen surface day to day so it is always to hand when needed, well worth the money as you get different blades which simply click on to the main part, go on buy it you know you want to!!
