...but at this price it's a steal.

I bought this after considering hiring a machine until I realized I would have to do the whole house in a weekend and would probably kill myself in the process. I brought this Vax 125 from Amazon just over a Month now, and have used it for the kitchen floor (hard Surface) and family room and hall way (where the dog sleeps).

At first I wasn't sure how good it was (especially I remembered the orange Vax that my mum used to have - Load of rubbish). With a baby on the way our carpet needed a good clean.

Yesterday I decided enough was enough and came online to find a carpet cleaner; I've been using carpet shampoos with elbow grease for far too long as my previous Vax died of overuse years ago. Finally a carpet cleaner that actually works. I have tried numerous cleaners all to no avail. Now I have one that not only works but works well. The device is perhaps a bit noisy, especially on hard floors. I would definitely recomend using the VAX own brand detergents as the others I tried either foamed too much or not enough.
