Beware of Creative customer care.

I recently contacted them with a problem with my MP3 player.

Basically, although it worked fine and was fully loaded with my whole music and video collection, I couldn't add any further content to it.

Customer care took me through a diagnostic process which ended with a instructions to completely reformat the machine, stripping it of its operating system.

this is well worth it.the quality is very good and when watching on a computer the sound is also very good.however,has anybody tried to record clips onto dvd?i had mine plugged into my dvd recorder,but the picture keeps rolling.also it no longer logs into my youtube account.apart from that its still getting used a lot.

Bought one for Myself & then another for my parents as they were impressed with mine. Went onto the Creative website as there is a firmware update to download that improves the picture quality etc. Also got a USB mains charger for about £2.00 as you can then charge it anywhere. The battery lasts for a while anyway. For a VGA camera the picture quality is really good and it is a no-brainer to use which is a relief for most people! I just got this for my birthday and never owning a camcorder before as im not technically minded at all was a little wary! but wow how easy it is to use and its the size of my mobile to fits into a pocket and so easy to download just plug it into your usb port and it does the rest in seconds!

I bought this camcorder as I wanted something small to take to family, friends when we visit or vcie versa. It's an impressive little recorder. I only have two criticisms. It would be nice to have an expansion card slot and a means of charging other than via the computer, hence the 4 stars.
