Rating: - Five seasons on and it's as great as ever.
I remember watching the very first episode hoping, to be blunt, for some gratuitous lesbian action. I stayed and bought every box set because of: great scripts, terrific actors, wonderful characters, terrific dialogue, unpredictability, marvellous wit, a (mostly) drop-dead gorgeous cast, and the fact that it was simply the best ongoing series on American tv since Buffy (though if I had to choose between the L Word and Battlestar Galactica my brain would probably freeze).

I was so excited about L5, it finally arrived and i binged watched it in 2 nights, this review has NO SPOILERS, but i will say the focus of the whole season centred around the movie of jenny's book Lez Girls, i found this disappointing, i was also totally disappointed with the "finale" which seemed so much like a regular episode that i actually rewatched then checked the episode listings to clarify, and despite the lack of a proper ending it was the finale.
