The basic setup of
MotorStorm - Pacific Rift is familiar: 16 different drivers behind the wheel of vehicles ranging from monster trucks to speedy motorbikes. Race courses are only loosely laid out, and it’s completely up to you to pick the best route for your vehicle.
Take the easy route, and you risk getting shunted off a cliff by your rivals. Or you could risk everything on a more dangerous shortcut. Some may be disappointed that this isn’t much more than a change of scenery from the first game, but when it looks this good, that’s not much of a problem.

I bought this game as i enjoy having a few mates over during our uni nights in and saw this game and reviews as being very fast n furious n gr8 laugh but ended being so fidgitive and annoying and repetitive that i got rid of it afte a few days.The graphics arent really great for a next gen console,the choice of vehicles are limited, the tracks are very few if any and isnt worth a price of more than a £10 Bundle.

The GOOD is the greater variety of tracks and vehicles and it is a lot of fun. I enjoy the offline multiplayer, a good addition. There are new physics which will annoy some people, I prefer Motorstorm 1 physics, but I am adapting.
The BAD; you cannot backup your save data and there are some major bugs, some of which corrupt your save file. So you will lose everything either through a game bug or when (not if - PS3 gamers know where I am coming from) your PS3 breaks down and find a lot ...

I have played tons of racing games on different platforms and this is so far provide the best experience ever. The game does not claim to be super realistic but it looks/sounds and plays awesome. Also, you do not have any framerate issues in split-screen - so it is good fun for playing with your mates. Definetely must buy!

Quick Review - if you have the first and liked it, what you waiting for this is better? For those new to Motorstorm this game is visually stunning, addictive and totally nuts. It's a true 'racing' game.

Great work Evolution Studios!!!!! They did an awesome job with this game. Normally with sequels, manufactorrs add tonnes of new stuff. In this, they've kept it the same as the original but added a few new things.
