Small lightweight unit but good sized handle making it easy to lift with case attached. Only need to lift case a few centimeters and then lower as weight stays on display for 60 sec so no need to lift high enough to read as on a scale based system. Excellent value for money. This little gadget has already paid for itself. It is accurate and matches the airport scales.

I bought this prior to my son's school trip to Rome. His teacher was so impressed that it was used to check the weight of everybody's luggage on the way out and back again!

This takes all the guess-work out of packing suitcases for air travel.
Have tested it with known weights - very accurate.
My wife even used it to weigh a large joint of meat before cooking.
