Great little light.

Nice and bright but what really impressed was that if well wound the light would last all night on the 4 LED setting, making it a great nightlight.

Also light enough to hang from the roof of the tent.

Purchased this for our first camping trip and was advised to get a good battery operated torch as well as a wind Up one. This was perfect. Not as bright as a battery operated one but easy to use and great as a night light for the kids. Very good quality.

Rating: - Wind-Up Lantern wound me up a little!
Worked a treat until the end handle on the winder fell off... then became a little hard to turn. To make matters worse the removeable top handle can no longer be reattached as one of the pegs which it connects to snapped off as well.

The LEDs do give an eerie glow rather than the more natural light of a traditional bulb but this is expected for most LED bulbs. Did what we needed it to though and will be used in one of the pockets of the tent instead of hanging it but unfortunately the ... Read More

Fantastic price and product and very fast delivery. No more buying batteries!! This lantern was bought to take camping but is now kept within easy reach in case of power cuts. A couple of minutes of winding and the lantern stayed lit until morning. I couldnt tell much difference between having 4, 8 or 12 bulbs lit - 4 lit bulbs seemed plenty bright enough for what we needed. Would recommend without hesitation

Advised to buy this type of product - searched internet, chose this one due to reviews read on this and other similar products. Really pleased i went with this - had a play ahead of camping trip, wound up manually indoors and let it run down, easily gives 20 mins light after 1 min. winding - gave plenty of light at bedtime in tent, easily enough to change and find items, although agree not ideal for reading -would recommend
